1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using 2FA Fast ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
2FA Fast provides a free, browser-based tool for generating time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for two-factor authentication (2FA). All code generation occurs within your browser. We do not process or store your authentication secrets on our servers.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service for unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Use the Service to generate codes for accounts you do not own or have authorization to access.
4. Security Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the security of your 2FA secret keys. 2FA Fast cannot access your accounts and does not store your secrets. However, entering your secret key into any online tool carries inherent risk. You do so at your own discretion. We recommend:
- Using the Service only on trusted devices and secure connections (HTTPS).
- Treating your 2FA secret key with the same care as a password.
- Using the offline-capable version when possible on sensitive accounts.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT GENERATED CODES WILL ALWAYS BE ACCEPTED BY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 2FA FAST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
7. Intellectual Property
The 2FA Fast website, branding, and code are protected by copyright. The TOTP algorithm itself is an open standard (RFC 6238).
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may display advertisements (Google AdSense) and use analytics (Google Analytics). Use of these services is subject to Google's respective terms of service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
